*They changed their name into The Javi Bar Experience!
This week we went up to Cenes de La Vega. We stopped in a bar of which we very much liked the name, El Tapeo Argentino.
It turns out that an Argentinian guy, called Javier, runs this bars since six months. In the kitchen he gets help from Mari*, and in the mornings his girlfriend runs the bar.
All kinds of people visit the bar. Like most of the bars in Cenes it is not a real big place. It has five tables in the inside and six on the pavement, which is their terrace. And ofcourse you can sit at the bar.
As always I ordered a tinto de verano. But Javier adds a secret ingredient. I love this tinto de verano. You have to try it!
All tapas and food El Tapeo Argentino serves is homemade. The tapas are prepared at the same moment.
They gave me an extra tapa. I started with the Argentinian empenada. A bit spicy, but very nice. After that they served me a roll of courgette with eggplant and honey. And the last tapa were some very delicious mushrooms.
At a certain moment I saw in the corner of my eye a huge roll/sandwich passing by. That seems like a real good price quality ratio. During the day they serve a menu for only 7 euros. One day I will come back to try that too.
The mixdrinks are also very reasonable priced.
A lot of reasons to stop by!

The bar is closed on Tuesdays and Sunday mornings. All the other days they are open from 7 till 16h and from 19h till closing time (around midnight).
