The best tapas tours in Granada
These tours are brought alive by an excellent guide… she loves and knows the best places for tapas in the city. Seems like the tours are her passion; she is definitely passionate about the beautiful city and its surrounds as well as good food. She is so knowledgeable about all corners of the city. She does not only offer tapas tours but can connect the traveller with other attractions… she believes in promoting and connecting the locals. One cannot go wrong with a tour with Tapas in Granada

Excellent and fun Tapas tour with Irene.
Mom, Dad and two Teenage girls enjoyed this Tapas tour very much! Irene is fun and interesting and has a many years love for Granada Tapas. After several days eating tapas in Madrid and Seville, the family questioned Mom’s prebooked plans for a tour, but we were blown away at the great craft beers, local wine and excellent tapas, proving that getting local recommendations on restaurants will steer you to much better food and wine than just picking them as you walk by.

During our Andalucia tour we have been to many other tapas bars in the meantime and we had other guided food tours, too, for instance we had a “wine & tapas tour” in Seville. It is clear now that Irene has been the most knowledgeable guide who perfectly understood our preferences and the wines she picked were – by far! the best.

Absolutely Exceptional!
What a great tour! Irene guided us through some great little spots in Granada. I enjoyed some locations so much that I went back the next day! Irene did a great job of explaining what we were eating and drinking, and helped us make the most informed decisions about wines. This tour really exceeded expectations! I would recommend it to anyone in Granada. Corinne R.

Fantastic night of tapas and drinks
We went on this tour Wednesday night to celebrate our last evening in Granada and we could not have been more pleased. The group was small providing an opportunity to get to know each other and to ask Irene anything at all. Irene was a great tour guide. She took us to lovely small restaurants off the beaten path where we sampled local beer, wines and even vermouth. The tapas were fantastic and not the typical tourist food. This will be a highlight of our trip. Had an awesome regional beer that uses rosemary and honey. Sarah V.
Great food, informed guide and good company Had a wonderful evening visiting four tapas bars we would never have found by ourselves. Irene was an informed guide, gave great explanations of some of the history of Granada, the food and wine. Our 2.5 hours turned into 3.5 hours as we were having such a good time! Excellent value for money.

Interesting tour with a charming guide
We had a very interesting tapas tour with Irene. She led us to four very different bars and we tasted beer made with sea water, Andalusian wines and vermut. Included were some special tapas from cheese empanadas to pig cheeks. Irene knows Granada very well and she loved to tell about it. We really had fun together.Patricia, from Germany
We had a great private tapas tour with Irene. We visited three places one had a fantastic view of the city at night. She also took us to some interesting ruins in the area. Enjoyed the tapas and the wines. She also accommodated non-drinkers in our party of seven.

Absolutely fantastic experience of Granada via Tapas in Granada… Irene took us to three wonderful bars to experience the sights and tastes of the city. A very intimate affair. She has a passion for Granada and share this graciously. Do not leave Granada before connecting with Tapas in Granada.

Great tour! Got to see places that you wouldn’t find on your own! If you only have a few days it’s a way to see the locals way of Granada! She also gave us a map of places to see and other good bars and restaurants. Kate Lyons, from Australia

I met Irene in Granada where she would take me on a tour through the city center and the Albaicín. I was a bit reluctant at first because I had been to Granada many times and I thought I knew the city quite well. Yet Irene was able to surprise me and I realized that there was still a lot I had never seen or heard of before. A very enjoyable and interesting tour. We later set out on a hiking tour just outside of Granada city, the Dehesa del Generalife. A beautiful place, from where we could see the Sierra Nevada. We started out at Minas del Oro, where the old gold mines have been, going up to Llano de la Perdíz where there was a well know Sun dial, although it was difficult to tell the time. The area is quite amazing! The impressive lane with many old Cypress trees and spectacular views over the Albacín and Granada. From a viewpoint, we could also see the Monastery of Sacramonte, now in disuse I think. Then we went down to go passed the Silla del Moro to see the Generalife gardens of the Alhambra. From there we went down to the city of Granada and had a few tapas in a bar near Plaza Nueva, a small bar few tourists know of.\r\nThese are places few people get to see and I felt lucky to have seen so many new sites of a place I have been so often and thought I knew so well.
